About ITNAmerica
ITNAmerica is the nation’s only nonprofit transportation network dedicated to helping older adults and individuals with mobility challenges maintain their independence through safe, reliable, and community-based transportation services.
We provide technology, training, and operational support to help communities launch and sustain nonprofit transportation programs through ITN Affiliates and ITNCountry platforms. We also offer resources like ITNRides software, Rides in Sight, and Community in the Cloud to support providers and riders.
Starting a Transportation Service
Starting a transportation service with ITNAmerica is easy! Through ITNCountry or ITN Affiliates, we provide ride scheduling software, training, payment solutions, and operational guidance. Contact us to learn more about launching a service in your community.
Insurance requirements vary by state and service model, but most nonprofit transportation services need liability insurance, volunteer driver coverage, and auto insurance for any vehicles used. ITNAmerica can guide you through best practices for coverage.
ITN Affiliates are comprehensive nonprofit transportation organizations built for larger communities with greater demand, while ITNCountry provides a more flexible, scalable model for smaller communities and grassroots initiatives. Both programs utilize ITNAmerica’s proven technology and operational support.
Technology & Resources
ITNRides is ITNAmerica’s proprietary ride scheduling and management software, built on Salesforce. It allows nonprofit providers to efficiently manage rides, coordinate volunteer drivers, track payments, and integrate sponsorships from businesses and healthcare providers.
Rides in Sight is the nation’s largest searchable database of transportation providers, helping riders, caregivers, and healthcare professionals find reliable transportation options by entering a zip code or the state and county online—or by calling our toll-free number.
Yes! Any organization can embed the Rides in Sight API directly into their websites, giving users instant access to transportation options without leaving their site. Learn more about API integration opportunities.
Volunteer & Donation Opportunities
Volunteers are the heart of our programs! If you’d like to become a volunteer driver, visit America’s Volunteer Driver Center to find local opportunities and help provide essential rides in your community.
Foundations and donors can support ITNAmerica through funding national initiatives, sponsoring Rides in Sight, investing in technology, or contributing to our ITN Road Scholarship Fund, which provides transportation assistance to those in need.
